Incident Manager and Command Centre Lead

\n- Salary circa £80,000 plus bonus, 10% pension and benefits
\n- London based hybrid role (3 days per week in the office)
\n\nA leading financial services company is looking for a Team Lead for its Incident Management and Command Centre function. This is a great opportunity where progression into senior management is available in the coming years.
\n\nThe role will take ownership of the UK Command Centre, developing leadership capability while managing business-critical incidents and helping shape the future of IT Operations.
\n\nDuties will include:

Leading the UK Command Centre and supporting the development of a high-performing team.
\n - \n
Managing Major Incidents from initiation through to service restoration.
\n - \n
Chairing technical and management bridge calls during critical incidents.
\n - \n
Coordinating multiple technology teams to restore business-critical services.
\n - \n
Providing clear updates to technical teams, senior management and executive stakeholders.
\n - \n
Driving continual service improvement through post-incident reviews and trend analysis.
\n - \n
Supporting operational projects and helping improve Incident Management processes.
\n - \n
Developing reporting, KPIs and operational performance metrics.
\n
To be considered suitable you will need the following skills/experience:
\n- Technical background as either, Incident Manager, Major Incident Manager, Command Centre Team Lead, NOC Team Lead, IT Operations Lead, Senior Systems Administrator
\n- Experience managing or coordinating Major Incidents within a large enterprise environment.
\n- A good understanding of how a Command Centre or IT Operations Centre functions.
\n- Confidence communicating with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
\n- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
\n- A passion for continuous improvement and developing operational excellence.
