\n\nThe Role
\nReporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll play an integral role within the finance team, supporting the production of accurate financial information while continuing to develop your accounting knowledge.
\nKey responsibilities include:

- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts \n
- Posting journals, accruals and prepayments \n
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations \n
- Bank reconciliations and cashbook management \n
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes \n
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting \n
- Producing financial reports and analysis \n
- Supporting the wider finance team with transactional accounting activities where required \n
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls \n
About You
\nWe're looking for someone who is ambitious, eager to learn and motivated to build a long-term career in finance.
\nYou'll ideally have:
\n- \n
- Previous experience within a finance role, such as Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant \n
- Exposure to month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations \n
- Strong Excel skills \n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills \n
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn \n
- AAT qualified, studying ACCA/CIMA, or qualified by experience (desirable but not essential) \n
