Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive temporary Office Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of a busy and fast-paced business for a 6-week contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a varied role and enjoys being at the heart of business operations.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth communication, accurate record-keeping, and efficient administrative support across the organisation.

  • Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Sunday - Friday (Saturdays off)
  • \n
  • Dates Required: 28th September 2026 for 6 weeks
  • \n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Creating and processing purchase orders (POs)
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and databases
  • \n
  • Recording site staff hours and submitting weekly timesheets
  • \n
  • Handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
  • \n
  • Monitoring office supplies and placing orders when required
  • \n
  • Scheduling meetings and assisting with diary management
  • \n
  • Updating spreadsheets, reports, and internal systems
  • \n
  • Providing general administrative support across the business
  • \n
  • Coordinating deliveries and tracking outstanding orders
  • \n
  • Ensuring office procedures are followed and maintained
  • \n
  • Supporting management with administrative tasks
  • \n

Essential Skills & Experience

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • \n
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • \n
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • \n
  • Professional and positive attitude
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • \n

Desirable Skills

    \n
  • Experience creating and managing purchase orders
  • \n
  • Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Sage, or Xero
  • \n
  • Previous customer service experience
  • \n
  • Basic finance or bookkeeping knowledge
  • \n
\n
