Finance Manager/ Assistant Financial Controlle

We're looking for an Assistant Financial Controller/Finance Manager to join our UK Finance team and work closely with the Finance Director. This is a varied, hands-on role offering exposure to financial reporting, forecasting, business planning and process improvement across multiple UK sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Director with monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
\n
• Assist with P&L reporting, cash flow planning and annual budgets.
\n
• Provide financial analysis to support business performance and decision-making.
\n
• Monitor margins and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
\n
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable activities.
\n
• Support year-end audits and statutory reporting.
\n
• Help improve finance systems, controls and business processes.
\n

About You

\n
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or nearing qualification) and will consider QBE
\n
• Strong accounting and analytical skills.
\n
• Able to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance teams.
\n
• Proactive, organised and keen to drive improvements.
\n
• Experience within manufacturing or a multi-site business is desirable.
\n
• Sage, Efacs or ERP system experience would be advantageous.
\n
