Assembly Operative

Brecon | £25,000 per annum | Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (days) | Permanent

Acorn by Synergie is working with a specialist manufacturer in the Brecon area who are seeking an Assembly Operative on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assembly Operative, Manufacturing Operative, or Production Operative to join a specialist engineering environment, building and assembling new machines and spare parts while ensuring production processes are carried out safely and efficiently.

• Monday to Friday working pattern.
\n
• 37.5 hours per week.
\n

• Manufacture and assemble new machines and spare parts on the shop floor.
\n
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and checked.
\n
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
\n
• Contribute positively to non-conformance and customer complaint reviews.
\n

\n
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is essential, with experience within an engineering environment ideal but not mandatory.
\n
• GCSE level education.
\n
• Understanding of ISO9001 and ISO14001 desirable but not essential.
\n
• Forklift experience is ideal but not mandatory.
\n
• A methodical and thorough approach to work.
\n
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
\n
