SEND Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant Location: Liverpool Contract: Full Time or Term Time Options Available Salary: £25,500 - £26,600 Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs to achieve their full potential? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist education setting supporting children and young people with a range of complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and health needs. About the Role Working alongside teachers and therapy professionals, you will help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment where pupils can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. You will support learners both in the classroom and during therapeutic, recreational and physical activities. This is a highly rewarding role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people. Key Responsibilities * Support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing across the school day. * Assist teachers in delivering engaging and personalised learning activities. * Encourage independence, confidence and social development. * Support pupils during therapy sessions, sports and physical activities. * Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment. * Work collaboratively with education, therapy and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for pupils. About You * Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs. * Patient, caring and resilient with a positive attitude. * Able to build effective relationships with pupils, colleagues and families. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Comfortable supporting pupils in a range of educational, therapeutic and physical activities, including swimming and sports. * Committed to learning and professional development.
