Consultant Rheumatologist - Specialist Principal Investigator

We are in search of Consultant Rheumatologist who would like to act as Principal Investigator for our trials in a flexible manner (combination of remote and on-site) in Glasgow

• Starting from £125 per hour
\n
• Flexible contract to work around current NHS job plan
\n

Role and Responsibilities:

\n
• Act as Principal Investigator for respective studies.
\n
• Provide medical oversight on clinical trial conduct at allocated site.
\n
• Performs PI oversight on a regular basis and available for meetings with key stakeholders.
\n
• Oversees staff training for the study and makes sure they are delegated on logs.
\n
• Holds regular meetings with the CRA and acts on any feedback given regarding site performance.
\n
• Participates in any internal or external audits and regulatory inspection.
\n
• Refer participants for respective clinical trials where appropriate.
\n
• Provide support to in-house sub-investigators on clinical matters when required.
\n

Skills and Qualifications:

\n
• Registered as a Specialist on GMC Register (Essential)
\n
• GCP trained (Desirable)
\n
• Previous Clinical trial experience as a Sub Investigator or Principal investigator. (Desirable)
