\nClerkenwell Health is an innovative and leading Research Organisation specialising in the delivery of scientifically grounded Clinical Trials through its collaborative Contract Research Organisation (CRO), extensive Clinical Research Facility (CRF) network, and Therapy Development Programme.
\nWe focus on supporting research in Mental Health and Central Nervous System (CNS) disorders, with a strong emphasis on psychedelic drug development. Our brand new site in Doncaster is expanding our clinical research capabilities and providing exciting opportunities for hands-on involvement in cutting-edge studies.
\nThe Role
\nWe're looking for a Part-Time Clinical Trial Health Care Assistant to join our Doncaster clinical research team, working 16-24 hours per week. You'll play an important role in delivering high-quality care to trial participants across Phase 1, 2 and 3 studies, supporting clinical operations as and when needed.
\nThis role is ideal for someone looking for part-time working arrangements whilst gaining hands-on experience in cutting-edge clinical research.
\nWhat Will the Role Entail?

- Performing clinical trial procedures such as phlebotomy, ECGs, vital signs and cannulation \n
- Supporting the preparation, planning and delivery of daily study activities \n
- Managing clinical documentation including CRFs, regulatory files and logs \n
- Coordinating volunteer visit schedules and assisting with participant care \n
- Processing and packaging biological specimens according to study protocols \n
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP and regulatory standards \n
- Supporting clinical trial set-up, site initiation and study close-out activities \n
- Upholding patient wellbeing and safety throughout study participation \n
- Participating in stock control, equipment calibration and administrative duties \n
- Undertaking required training provided by Clerkenwell and trial sponsors \n
What Will You Need to Succeed?

- Previous experience in a healthcare or research setting \n
- Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSEs in English and Maths) \n
- Diploma or qualifications within Health & Social Care \n
- Availability to work 16-24 hours per week \n
- Experience working in a laboratory including spinning and processing blood samples is desirable \n
- Phlebotomy experience would be advantageous \n
