Hybrid | 3-Month Contract | Inside IR35 | Competitive Day Rate

National Highways is seeking an experienced Estates Programme Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of a portfolio of Estates & Facilities Management projects valued at up to £100m.

\n

You'll be responsible for managing project teams, contractors, consultants, budgets, governance, risks, and stakeholder relationships to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Reponsibilities;

\n
    \n
  • Lead the delivery of the Estates and Facilities Management Programme.
  • \n
  • Manage a portfolio of complex estates and facilities projects from concept through to completion.
  • \n
  • Lead and develop a team of Programme and Project Managers.
  • \n
  • Build effective relationships with Programme Boards, Sponsors, and key internal and external stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with National Highways governance, project management, and assurance processes.
  • \n
  • Manage programme risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and reporting requirements.
  • \n
  • Oversee the performance of contractors, consultants, and supply chain partners.
  • \n
  • Support the development of business cases, investment proposals, and strategic programme planning.
  • \n
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practice across project delivery.
  • \n

We're looking for:

\n
    \n
  • Significant programme/project delivery experience
  • \n
  • Background in Estates, Facilities, Property, Construction or Infrastructure
  • \n
  • Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills
  • \n
  • Experience leading teams within complex organisations
  • \n
  • APM, MSP, PRINCE2, IPMA or equivalent qualifications desirable
  • \n
