Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer
\nLocation: Hybrid/London
\nEmployment Type: Permanent, Full-time
\nSalary: £40,000 – £50,000 + benefits & bonuses
\nAbout the Role:
\nWe are seeking an experienced Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer with 4-5 years of industry experience to join a well-established, Multidisciplinary Consultancy. The selected candidate will have the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis from our client's London Office. You will work on technically challenging and high-profile Automotive (Production Facilities), Retail, Defence, complex Commercial Fit-Outs, and Higher Education projects.

\nKey Responsibilities:
\n• HVAC design and delivery of mechanical building services systems
\n• Develop mechanical design strategies, concepts, and detailed solutions
\n• Undertake and oversee thermal, comfort, and energy analysis of buildings and spaces
\n• Prepare models, drawings, specifications, and reports
\n• Contribute to design reviews, risk assessments, and technical approvals
\n• Support sustainability and low-carbon design approaches across projects
\nKey Requirements:
\n• 4-5 years of previous experience in the building services industry
\n• Proven experience working on projects through concept, detailed design, and delivery stages
\n• Strong experience working on Commercial projects.
\n• Demonstrable experience working within multidisciplinary design teams
\n• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Software is essential
\n• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and design standards
\n• Knowledge of sustainable and low-carbon design principles
\n• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
\n• Proactive problem-solver with a delivery-focused mindset
