\nAbout the Role
\nWe're looking for an experienced and proactive Lead Programme Management Office (PMO) Analyst to help establish and develop a growing PMO function within a technology-led organisation.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of PMO maturity, governance, reporting, and delivery standards across a portfolio of strategic change initiatives. Working closely with senior leadership, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and delivery teams, you'll play a key role in shaping how projects and programmes are governed, reported, and successfully delivered.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of the PMO function \n
- Develop and implement PMO processes, governance frameworks, standards, templates and delivery tool kits. \n
- Establish consistent project controls, stage gates and governance across the project portfolio. \n
- Produce executive-level dashboards, portfolio reporting, KPIs and management information. \n
- Monitor portfolio risks, issues, dependencies and delivery performance. \n
- Facilitate governance forums, steering committees and executive reporting meetings. \n
- Support strategic planning, prioritisation, resource management and delivery planning. \n
- Conduct delivery assurance reviews, health checks and lessons learned activities. \n
- Lead, coach and mentor Project Managers, PMO Analysts and delivery teams on PMO best practices. \n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery quality and organisational maturity. \n
We're looking for

- Significant experience within a PMO, Programme Management or portfolio management environment \n
- Experience establishing a PMO function or improving PMO governance, reporting frameworks and delivery standards. \n
- Experience in leading others within PMO. \n
- Strong knowledge of project, programme and portfolio management best practices. \n
- Experience producing executive-level reporting, dashboards and portfolio insights. \n
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working alongside senior leadership teams. \n
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving capabilities \n
- Experience managing portfolio risks, issues, dependencies and governance processes \n
- Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills. \n
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and MS Project. \n
- Experience with recognised delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall or PRINCE2 (SAFe is advantageous). \n
- An interest in emerging technologies, including AI, and experience using AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, planning and decision-making. \n
