We are working with a growing international law firm to hire a Senior Conflicts Analyst for their team. In this role you will manage and mitigate regulatory risk by conducting comprehensive, end-to-end conflict checks on complex and high-risk matters to support the organisation's global operations.

The firm is looking for a proactive, solutions-focused specialist with proven experience in a conflicts role within a law firm, particularly handling high-risk client onboarding. Candidates must possess a strong working knowledge of the SRA Code of Conduct 2019, Market Abuse Regulation, and wider client inception procedures, alongside excellent research and analytical abilities. The ideal candidate will combine high attention to detail with the communication skills and confidence to provide clear guidance, manage stakeholder relationships, and offer technical support to junior colleagues.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Executing end-to-end conflict checks on complex and sensitive matters in strict alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • \n
  • Analysing confidential records and supporting documentation to evaluate materiality, assess risk levels, and inform decision-making.
  • \n
  • Escalating intricate or sensitive conflicts to senior management and collaborating to achieve efficient, policy-compliant resolutions.
  • \n
  • Serving as a technical point of contact and escalation for junior team members, offering expert advice and guidance on complex queries.
  • \n
  • Assisting team leaders with workflow allocation, operational queries, and conducting quality assurance audits on search results.
  • \n
  • Managing central inbox queries, implementing and maintaining information barriers, and supporting general matter management tasks.
