\nWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established electronics manufacturer in Dudley, looking for a hands-on Production Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement across the production facility.

\nThe Role
\nAs Production Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Leading and managing the production team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. \n
- Planning and coordinating manufacturing activities to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime. \n
- Ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards and customer specifications. \n
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. \n
- Monitoring KPIs and implementing corrective actions where required. \n
- Working closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth production flow. \n
- Managing staffing levels, training, performance, and employee development. \n
- Promoting a strong culture of health and safety throughout the manufacturing operation. \n
- Identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and workflows. \n
About You
\nThe successful candidate will have:
\n- \n
- Previous experience as a Production Manager within an electronics manufacturing environment (essential). \n
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop production teams. \n
- A proven track record of improving manufacturing performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. \n
- Excellent organisational and planning skills. \n
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to decision-making. \n
- Experience working with production KPIs, scheduling, and resource planning. \n
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. \n
Desirable
\n- \n
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. \n
- Experience working within ISO-regulated manufacturing environments. \n
- Understanding of PCB assembly, electronic products, or electro-mechanical manufacturing processes. \n
