\nWe’re looking for a Project Engineer to join a leading name in the industry — someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, driving technical innovation, and seeing projects through from concept to completion.
\nYou’ll work across multidisciplinary teams, managing the delivery of high-performance aerospace systems with precision, efficiency, and creativity.
\nProject Engineer – Role Responsibilities:
\nUndertake design work in accordance with the parameters set out by the Lead Engineer. This will include analysis via hand or Finite Element Analysis (FEA), 2D drawing, 3D CAD, Solidworks, DDM, PDM and the production of reports/documentation.
\nConduct regular project and programme reviews, reporting to and updating key stakeholders and Customers.
\nParticipate in / supervise the manufacture of prototypes and trials in which the physical testing of the prototypes / samples is not uncommon.
\nMaintain accurate, timely records of hours worked on each project.
\nParticipate in the initial design, estimating and review of assigned projects.
\nUndertake design work in accordance with the parameters set out in the initial design review.
\nContribute to the production of KPI's and identification of Root Cause analysis.
\nProject Engineer – Candidate Requirements:
\nThe role requires an educational standard to minimum HNC/HND and, preferably, to Degree level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
\nA minimum of two years’ work experience gained in an engineering environment is essential. Experience of FEA and CAD is desirable.
\nComputer literacy is a must.
\nA valid driving licence and a willingness to travel in the UK and abroad are also required.
\nProject Engineer – Salary and Hours:
\nUp to £50,000 salary – Depending on experience
\n37.5 hours per week
