Job Description
We are seeking to recruit a Chartered Architect for our busy team across the north of England. Role to be based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire or Otley, West Yorkshire. You will be employed on a permanent full-time contract with flexible benefits.

\nYou will be joining an Architectural team that work within the company’s multi-discipline workforce including Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, Highways, Civil & Structural and M&E Engineers. \nEssential Skills / Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Hold RIBA Part I, II & III qualifications plus ARB registration. \n
- Has a minimum 2 years post Part III architectural experience in a UK company \n
Duties and Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Work as a member of the Architectural team within a multi-disciplinary organisation. \n
- Act as a Lead Consultant liaising with the client and co-ordinating the design team \n
- Produce Feasibility, Planning, Building Regulation & Construction information \n
- Produce schedules of work and specifications using NBS software. \n
- General understanding of JCT (Traditional / D&B) and NEC contracts \n
- Visit sites to attend meetings, carry out inspections and surveys when required. \n
- Carry out designer duties to meet current CDM regulation requirements. \n
- Act as Principal Designer for Building Regulations in accordance with the Building Safety Act \n
- Promote sustainability initiatives to help clients meet their carbon reduction policies \n
- Attend client and contractor meetings as and when required. \n
- Complete work to defined business processes, standards and time frames. \n
Experience and Knowledge:
\n- \n
- Experience across all RIBA Plan of Work Stages on UK projects \n
- Works under minimal supervision and completes some tasks using own judgement, but overall supervision is required, work is reviewed for adequacy on completion. \n
- Experience of working closely with other disciplines to produce coordinated deliverables. \n
- Good IT & Presentation skills – Revit, AutoCad, Photoshop. \n
- A keen eye for detail and a careful and accurate approach. \n
