Project Manager Role
Job Description
Project Manager | New Product Introduction (NPI)
\nAerospace Backgrounds Welcome
\nCamberley | Aerospace, Defence & Nuclear | Up to £70,000
\nLead Challenging Projects from Concept to Delivery
\nWe're an established and growing engineering business delivering bespoke safety-critical instrumentation products into highly regulated industries. Having achieved over 20% growth in each of the last three years, we're investing in the next stage of our journey and are looking for a talented Project Manager to help deliver it.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), product development or project delivery who is looking for greater ownership, increased responsibility and career progression.
\nMany of the challenges faced in this role mirror those found in aerospace NPI environments: translating customer requirements into deliverable solutions, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, mitigating risk and driving products successfully through to manufacture and delivery.
\nThis is not a reporting role. You will be accountable for delivery.
\nWhat You'll Do
\n- \n
- Own projects from customer requirement through to delivery. \n
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and product development activities. \n
- Manage 6–8 concurrent projects, balancing priorities, resources and stakeholder expectations. \n
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, production, quality and supply chain activities. \n
- Manage project risk, change, schedules, budgets and customer expectations. \n
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. \n
- Drive accountability and maintain momentum to ensure successful outcomes. \n
What We're Looking For
\n- \n
- 5–10 years' experience in project management, product development or NPI environments. \n
- Experience delivering new products from concept through to manufacture. \n
- Aerospace experience would be particularly attractive. \n
- Experience in defence, nuclear or other regulated industries would be advantageous but is not essential. \n
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. \n
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills. \n
- Comfortable operating in environments where priorities evolve and expectations are high. \n
- A proactive individual who drives delivery rather than simply reporting progress. \n
Why Join Us?
\n- \n
- Join a business that has achieved more than 20% growth annually for three consecutive years. \n
- Take ownership of high-profile projects supporting customers in the defence and nuclear industries. \n
- Work closely with senior leaders and gain visibility across the organisation. \n
- Be trusted to make decisions and make a tangible impact. \n
- Enjoy a varied role where no two projects are the same. \n
Career Progression
\nWe're looking for someone with the ambition to grow.
\nAs the business continues to expand, this role offers clear progression opportunities. You'll gain exposure across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, commercial and customer-facing activities, providing an excellent foundation for broader leadership responsibilities as the business continues to grow.
\nSalary
\nUp to £70,000, depending on experience.
\nInterested?
\nIf you've developed your career delivering new products, leading NPI activities or managing multiple customer-driven projects and are looking for a role with genuine ownership, challenge and opportunities for progression, we'd like to hear from you.
