Konker is recruiting for a Senior Architect to join a long-established Nottingham architecture practice.

Strong pipeline, a growing local team, and the kind of hybrid setup that actually works: 2-3 days a week in the office, the rest from home.

You'll work across public sector, commercial, education and residential projects. A varied sector mix, with the technical depth and complexity to keep things interesting for someone who wants more than a one-sector remit.

The Senior Architect role, day to day:

• Leading live projects across multiple RIBA stages, from concept and design through to delivery on site.
\n
• Holding senior client relationships and representing the practice on live jobs.
\n
• Producing and reviewing design and technical packages, with strong oversight of quality.
\n
• Coordinating with contractors and consultants across live schemes.
\n
• Mentoring project architects and junior team members.
\n
• Contributing to bids, fee proposals, and the wider growth of the studio.

What we're looking for in a Senior Architect:

• ARB registered, RIBA Part 3 qualified.
\n
• Several years of UK post-qualification experience, with a track record of running projects.
\n
• Strong Revit skills across live project delivery.
\n
• Confident client-facing, comfortable across technical, commercial and contractual conversations.
\n
• Experience across some of the target sectors: public sector, commercial, education or residential.
\n
• Interest in mentoring and shaping the direction of the team locally.
\n
