\n

A rare opportunity to build, shape and lead an indirect procurement function from the ground up.

\n

Following a recent senior leadership restructure, indirect procurement has been established as a standalone business function, creating the opportunity for an experienced procurement leader to define the strategy, centralise spend and build a best-in-class procurement capability.

\n

\n

You'll be given the autonomy and backing to transform procurement into a strategic commercial function, working closely with senior leadership to influence business decisions and drive long-term value.

\n

\n

Leading a growing team, you'll be responsible for embedding structure, governance and best practice, while developing procurement into a function recognised for adding genuine commercial value across the organisation.

\n

\n

The Opportunity:

\n
    \n
  • Develop and execute the long-term indirect procurement strategy, creating a clear roadmap for the future of the function.
  • \n
  • Lead the transformation from a largely decentralised procurement model to a strategic, centralised function with robust governance and commercial control.
  • \n
  • Partner with the senior leadership team, becoming the trusted advisor for all indirect procurement activity across the business.
  • \n
  • Identify and unlock commercial opportunities, delivering cost optimisation, supplier innovation and long-term value across a diverse indirect spend portfolio, including IT, HR, Professional Services and Corporate Services.
  • \n
  • Build a high-performing procurement function, developing the existing team while introducing new ways of working, greater accountability and continuous improvement.
  • \n
  • Strengthen supplier relationships through strategic sourcing, effective negotiation and performance management, ensuring procurement supports both operational delivery and long-term business objectives.
  • \n
\n

\n

About You:

\n

You'll be an experienced procurement leader who thrives in transformation environments and enjoys building functions rather than simply maintaining them.

\n

\n

You'll be able to demonstrate:

\n
    \n
  • A proven track record of leading indirect procurement within a complex organisation.
  • \n
  • Experience delivering procurement transformation, centralisation or significant change programmes.
  • \n
  • The credibility and presence to influence senior stakeholders and operate confidently at Executive level.
  • \n
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a history of delivering measurable value through strategic procurement.
  • \n
  • Previous experience leading and developing high-performing procurement teams.
  • \n
  • A collaborative, hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategy and delivery.
  • \n
\n

\n

Why Apply?

\n

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact.

\n

You'll have the freedom to define the strategy, shape the operating model and build a procurement function that will play a critical role in the organisation's future success. If you're looking for a role that offers real ownership, Executive visibility and the chance to leave a lasting legacy, this is it.
