\nWe are currently recruiting for experienced Production Planners to join a highly regulated engineering and manufacturing environment based in Burghfield.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a background in production planning, manufacturing, materials, or precision engineering to support operational delivery by managing production schedules, coordinating manufacturing requirements, and driving effective planning processes.
\nThe successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring production demands are accurately planned, resources are aligned, and delivery targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Maintain and support the Master Production Schedule and supplementary schedules, ensuring forecast dates remain accurate. \n
- Develop detailed manufacturing plans in response to operational requirements, considering time, cost, and quality. \n
- Maintain accurate production information within local MRP systems. \n
- Support production control activities using lean planning techniques, including visual management, Kanban, and Push/Pull processes. \n
- Identify and resolve production delays, constraints, and barriers to delivery. \n
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams, supply chain, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure balanced and achievable production plans. \n
- Support production cost and schedule estimates. \n
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and production performance. \n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence activities. \n
- Build strong working relationships across engineering, manufacturing, and delivery teams. \n
Essential Experience
\n- \n
- Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment. \n
- Background in engineering, manufacturing, materials, or related production disciplines. \n
- Strong understanding of manufacturing routes, machining processes, and shop-floor operations. \n
- Experience managing: \n
- Material availability \n
- Supplier deliveries \n
- Purchase orders \n
- Production schedules \n
- Supply chain challenges and reforecasting \n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Ability to analyse production data, track performance, and provide accurate planning updates. \n
- Good computer literacy and experience using planning/reporting systems. \n
Desirable Experience
\n- \n
- Experience using SAP or ERP/MRP systems. \n
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and production control methodologies. \n
- Experience working within complex or highly regulated engineering environments. \n
Additional Information

- This position is fully site-based in Burghfield. \n
- Successful candidates will be required to attend site for induction, kit retrieval, and a medical appointment as part of the onboarding process. \n
