£55,000–£60,000 + 5% Bonus | Hybrid – Central London

We're partnering with an international business to recruit a People Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit global People team, taking ownership of the UK employee population while partnering with leaders to deliver an outstanding employee experience.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll combine operational excellence with strategic input, supporting managers, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the People function runs smoothly across the UK.

\n


\n

What you'll be doing

\n

You'll be the primary People contact for the UK business, providing practical advice and partnering with managers on a broad range of people matters. Alongside day-to-day HR support, you'll also have the opportunity to improve processes and contribute to wider global initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

    \n
  • Building trusted relationships with managers, coaching and advising on employee relations, performance and people decisions.
  • \n
  • Managing all aspects of the employee journey, from recruitment and onboarding through to development and offboarding.
  • \n
  • Overseeing monthly payroll and benefits administration, ensuring a seamless employee experience.
  • \n
  • Reviewing and enhancing HR processes, policies and systems to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • \n
  • Coordinating learning and development activities and supporting talent initiatives across the business.
  • \n
  • Leading employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • \n
  • Working alongside the wider international HR team on projects and business-wide initiatives.

About you

\n

You'll be someone who enjoys working in a broad, hands-on HR role and is comfortable balancing operational responsibilities with continuous improvement projects.

\n

We're looking for someone with:

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience in a standalone or broad HR generalist position.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and employee relations.
  • \n
  • Experience managing payroll and employee benefits (essential).
  • \n
  • Confidence partnering with managers and influencing stakeholders across the business.
  • \n
  • Experience improving HR processes, systems or ways of working.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • \n
  • Previous exposure to an international or fast-moving business would be advantageous.
  • \n
