Role: Architect or Architectural Technician
\nLocation: Manchester
\nPay Rate: £25-£32 per hour
\nContract Length: 6 months (ongoing)
\nWorking Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days home / 3 days office
\nStart Date: ASAP
\nJob Overview:
\nDue to a significant increase in project workload, we are looking to appoint several positions - Architects / Architectural Technicians / Part 2 Architectural Assistants to join our growing team in Manchester.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of healthcare projects. We are seeking creative individuals with a proactive attitude who can take ownership of projects and contribute from concept through to delivery.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Support the design and delivery of healthcare and public sector projects. \n
- Produce high-quality technical drawings and project documentation. \n
- Assist with planning applications, technical design packages and project coordination. \n
- Work collaboratively with architects, associates, directors and external stakeholders. \n
- Take ownership of project tasks and contribute ideas throughout the design process. \n
- Attend project and client meetings as required. \n
- Ensure work is delivered to agreed quality standards and project deadlines. \n
Essential Skills & Experience:
\n- \n
- Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or equivalent qualification. \n
- Experience working within an architectural practice. \n
- Strong design and technical drawing abilities. \n
- Proficiency in Revit. \n
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint. \n
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. \n
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop. \n
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. \n
Desirable Skills & Experience:
\n- \n
- Previous experience working on healthcare or NHS projects. \n
- Knowledge of healthcare design standards and regulations. \n
- Experience using MBS specification software. \n
- Familiarity with UK Building Regulations and technical detailing. \n
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams. \n
- Experience across both design and technical project stages. \n
