\nThe Opportunity
\nWe are looking to appoint a capable and experienced Registered Manager to oversee a children’s residential home caring for young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who wants full responsibility for service delivery, team performance and care quality, while helping young people achieve better futures.
\nThe Role
\nAs Registered Manager, you will:

- Lead the home’s day-to-day operations and overall service delivery \n
- Manage, support and inspire a dedicated residential care team \n
- Establish a safe, consistent and supportive environment for young people \n
- Champion a culture built around responsibility, stability and positive outcomes \n
Compliance & Quality
\n- \n
- Ensure the home consistently meets Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements \n
- Manage safeguarding practice, risk processes and incident oversight \n
- Maintain excellent care documentation, plans and assessments \n
- Lead inspection readiness and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement \n
Leadership & Operations
\n- \n
- Take responsibility for recruitment, staffing structure and workforce planning \n
- Deliver supervisions, appraisals and continuous professional development \n
- Manage service budgets, occupancy and operational effectiveness \n
- Collaborate with senior leaders on strategic growth and service improvement \n
Stakeholder Engagement
\n- \n
- Build credible relationships with Local Authorities, Ofsted and multidisciplinary professionals \n
- Act as the professional face of the home at all times \n
- Maintain clear and effective communication with families and partner agencies \n
What We’re Looking For
\n- \n
- Strong experience as a Registered Manager within children’s residential care \n
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and inspections \n
- Experience supporting young people with SEMH and more complex care needs \n
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management or currently completing it \n
- A proven leader who can strengthen services and improve outcomes \n
