\nWhether you're an Assistant Project Manager ready to take the next step or an experienced Project Manager looking for greater ownership, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering consultancy delivering multidisciplinary design projects across the UK water sector.
\nWe're expanding our Project Management team and are looking to recruit at both Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager level.
\nYou'll work alongside highly experienced engineers, designers and project leaders, helping to deliver complex engineering design projects that make a real difference to the UK's water infrastructure.

\nPlease note: Previous engineering design project experience is essential.
\n🚀 The Opportunity
\nYou'll play a key role in delivering multidisciplinary engineering design projects, ensuring they're completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
\nDepending on your level of experience, you'll either:
\nAssistant Project Manager (£45,000)
\nYou'll support Project Managers in the successful delivery of projects while developing the skills and experience needed to progress into a Project Manager position.
\nYou'll gain exposure to project planning, commercial management, NEC contracts, client engagement and multidisciplinary design coordination, with structured mentoring and clear career progression.
\nProject Manager (£55,000)
\nYou'll take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, managing programme, budget, commercial performance and client relationships while leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentoring junior Project Managers.
\n🔧 What You'll Be Doing
\nDepending on your experience, your responsibilities will include:
\n'05; Delivering multidisciplinary engineering design projects within the water sector
\n'05; Managing or supporting project programmes, budgets and delivery milestones
\n'05; Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and external supply chain partners
\n'05; Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
\n'05; Supporting or managing NEC and other contract requirements
\n'05; Monitoring project progress, risks, change and commercial performance
\n'05; Assisting with or leading tender submissions and technical proposals
\n'05; Reporting project performance to senior leadership
\n'05; Driving collaboration across engineering disciplines to ensure successful project delivery
\n'05; Supporting and mentoring junior team members (Project Manager level)
\n👤 About You
\nWe're looking for ambitious individuals who enjoy working within collaborative engineering environments and want to build a long-term career delivering major infrastructure projects.
\nAssistant Project Manager
\n'14; 2–5 years' experience in engineering design, design coordination or design project management
\n'14; Degree or HND in Engineering or a related discipline
\n'14; Strong organisational and communication skills
\n'14; A genuine ambition to develop into a Project Manager
\nProject Manager
\n'14; Proven Project Management or Design Management experience
\n'14; Experience delivering multidisciplinary engineering design projects
\n'14; Strong understanding of programme management, commercial performance and project delivery
\n'14; Experience managing clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
\n'14; Strong understanding of engineering design project lifecycles
\nDesirable for Both
\n⭐ Experience within the UK water sector
\n⭐ Knowledge of NEC contracts
\n⭐ Experience with project planning, cost control and change management
\n⭐ Understanding of multidisciplinary engineering environments
\n⭐ Awareness of commercial and contractual principles
\n⭐ Experience contributing to tenders and client-facing activities
