\nWiltshire (with UK travel)
\n£50,000–£65,000 + benefits
\nA growing, multi-site manufacturing group is seeking a strategic Learning & Development Business Partner to elevate capability, high-potential development and succession planning across the organisation.
\nOperating within a complex, commercially driven environment, this role will shape and modernise the group’s learning strategy during a period of operational growth and structural evolution.
\nThe role:
\nThis is a strategic build-and-embed role.
\nYou will define and implement a group wide learning & development framework incorporating:
\nHigh-potential identification methodology
\nSuccession planning governance and workforce planning cadence
\nExecutive and senior leadership coaching
\nMentoring frameworks
\nRotational and cross-functional development pathways
\nAssessment tools and learning diagnostics
\nStructured learning journeys with measurable impact
\nFormal tracking, reporting and programme governance
\nWorking cross-functionally, you will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, senior leaders and subject matter experts to ensure consistency, credibility and measurable outcomes across all business units and sites.
\nYou will:
\nCreate a learning framework for the entire organisation
\nAdvise potential leaders and their line managers on career development and progression
\nEnable robust, actionable development plans aligned to future capability requirements
\nModernise existing learning programmes and embed new frameworks
\nDefine KPIs and talent metrics in partnership with HR and leadership teams
\nInterpret people data to inform strategic programming decisions
\nPresent findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
\nLead succession planning processes and ensure continuity of leadership pipeline
\nDeliver executive and leadership coaching interventions
\nFacilitate team development sessions, workshops and assimilation events
\nSupport employee engagement interventions and change management initiatives
\nScope and design bespoke leadership and team programmes based on business need
\nEnsure programme governance, tracking and reporting are embedded and scalable
\nImplement LMS
\nEnsure the front line manufacturing teams have received all functional training in a timely and engaging way
\nThe person:
\nWe are seeking a credible Talent Development specialist with executive presence and operational awareness.
\nDegree educated or equivalent professional qualification
\nCoaching certification
\nExperience within a multi-site, fast-paced corporate environment (manufacturing or FMCG experience advantageous)
\nStrong exposure to succession planning, high-potential frameworks and engagement strategy
\nExperience working directly with senior leadership teams
\nYou will demonstrate:

\nAbility to operate cross-functionally and influence without authority
\nAbility to design, develop and deliver exceptional L&D programmes
\nStrong analytical capability and comfort using people data
\nConfident facilitation skills across varied audiences

\nAbility to manage competing priorities within tight timelines
\nCommercial awareness aligned to organisational growth objectives
\nExperience leveraging digital learning platforms and structured development tracking systems will be beneficial.
