Risk & Compliance Manager | International Insurance | 6-Month FTC–Perm

A leading international marine insurer is looking for a Risk & Compliance Manager to run its global regulatory compliance and risk framework — reporting directly to the CFO, with a seat on the international Group Regulatory Affairs Sub-committee.

You'll own compliance across every jurisdiction the business operates in: financial crime, sanctions, conduct risk, TCF, and complaints, alongside acting as Privacy Officer for GDPR and liaising directly with the ICO. You'll manage the risk register and quarterly risk sign-off process, present to the Board, and line manage a small compliance team.

Person requirements:

• Proven compliance and operational risk experience from an international insurance background
\n
• P&I or marine market experience is a strong advantage
\n
• The confidence to explain risk and regulatory strategy to senior stakeholders,
\n
• Hands-on GDPR/DPO exposure.
\n

This is a 6-month FTC with a genuine route to permanent, immediate start preferred.
