Head of FP&A (Infrastructure - Interim)

We're working with a leading infrastructure business that is looking to hire a Head of FP&A – Projects to support the delivery of a large and growing project portfolio.

This is a key finance leadership role, partnering closely with project and operational teams to provide financial insight, forecasting, and performance reporting across major capital projects

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning for project activities
\n
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management
\n
• Partner with Project Directors and operational teams to improve performance
\n
• Monitor project costs, profitability, cash flow, and key financial metrics
\n
• Support investment decisions through financial modelling and business case analysis
\n
• Develop and improve reporting processes and financial controls
\n
• Lead and develop a small FP&A team
\n

Requirements

\n
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
\n
• Strong FP&A experience within infrastructure, construction, engineering, utilities, or a project-based environment
\n
• Experience working with large projects and capital expenditure programmes
\n
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
\n
• Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, commercial environment
