Interim Financial Controller

Ledbury | Onsite 5 Days Per Week | £350-£450 per day | 3-6 Month Contract

We are supporting a well-established business in Ledbury with the appointment of an Interim Financial Controller to provide leadership and stability during the transition to a permanent hire.

Reporting to the General Manager and corporate team, you will take ownership of the finance function, leading a small team whilst ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting and effective business partnering across the organisation.

Experience within a private equity-backed business environment would be highly desirable.

• Lead month-end close and management accounting processes
\n
• Own budgeting, forecasting and EBITDA performance reporting
\n
• Manage cash flow, working capital and balance sheet integrity
\n
• Deliver group reporting in line with IFRS and corporate deadlines
\n
• Lead audit, VAT and statutory compliance activities
\n
• Drive process improvements across finance operations and ERP systems
\n
• Develop and support a transactional finance team
\n

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
\n
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar leadership role
\n
• Strong manufacturing sector experience desirable
\n
• Track record of leading finance teams and improving processes
\n
• Hands-on approach with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
