AdministratorLocation: Derby (DE21)Salary: Up to £30,000 + Bonus SchemeHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pmType: Permanent, Full-Time, Office BasedAre you an organised and proactive Administrator looking for a varied role within a friendly and growing business?Our client, a well-established Health & Safety Consultancy based in Derby, is looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive business with an excellent reputation, strong staff retention, and a genuinely attractive benefits package.Working closely with the Construction and CDM Consultants, you'll play a key role in coordinating documentation, producing Operational & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals for construction projects, and ensuring projects are delivered smoothly and efficiently.The RoleThis is a varied administration role where no two projects are the same. You'll be responsible for gathering information from contractors and suppliers, collating documentation, maintaining project records, and producing professional electronic manuals for clients.Key responsibilities include:\n

  • Producing and compiling Operational & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals
  • \n
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and contractors to obtain required documentation
  • \n
  • Chasing outstanding information via telephone and email
  • \n
  • Maintaining project trackers and progress reports using Excel
  • \n
  • Uploading and downloading documentation from client portals
  • \n
  • Creating and editing PDF documents using Adobe software
  • \n
  • Adding hyperlinks and document navigation within electronic manuals
  • \n
  • Supporting Construction and CDM Consultants with project administration
  • \n
  • Managing client and contractor queries professionally
  • \n
  • Ensuring documentation is accurate, complete and submitted on time
  • \n
About YouWe're looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate with a range of stakeholders.You'll ideally have:\n

  • Previous administration experience
  • \n
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
  • \n
  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat or similar PDF editing software
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills
  • \n
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach
  • \n
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • \n
  • Confidence working independently and using your own initiative
  • \n
  • Experience working with document management systems, portals or SharePoint would be advantageous
  • \n
