An established and highly respected professional services organisation based in Diss is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join its finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and posting month-end journals
\n
• Managing accruals and prepayments
\n
• Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
\n
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts
\n
• Bank reconciliations
\n
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance function
\n
• Assisting with management accounts preparation
\n
• Processing financial transactions and ensuring data accuracy
\n
• Supporting audits and compliance requirements
\n
• Ad hoc finance and accounting duties as required
\n

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience working within an Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or similar finance role
\n
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
\n
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
\n
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
\n
• A proactive and positive approach to work
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
\n
