Accounts Semi Senior / Accounts Senior

An established and highly regarded Bristol-based accountancy practice is seeking an Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

The RoleWorking with a broad portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SME clients across a range of sectors, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
\n
• Preparing management accounts and financial reports
\n
• Supporting the preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns
\n
• Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
\n
• Assisting clients with bookkeeping and cloud accounting software
\n
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
\n
• Supporting junior team members where appropriate
\n

About YouWe are keen to speak with individuals who have:

\n
• Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
\n
• Previous exposure to accounts preparation for a varied client portfolio
\n
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
\n
• Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
\n
• AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified or qualified by experience candidates are all encouraged to apply
\n
