Job Description
Key Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reports for a portfolio of properties. \n
- Produce service charge accounts and reconciliations. \n
- Manage client bank accounts and perform regular bank reconciliations. \n
- Process rent and service charge transactions accurately. \n
- Prepare budgets and support forecasting activities. \n
- Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records. \n
- Manage year-end accounting processes and liaise with external auditors where required. \n
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation. \n
- Respond to client queries and provide financial support to property management teams. \n
- Review aged debtors and creditors, supporting collection activities where necessary. \n
- Identify opportunities to improve financial controls and accounting processes. \n
- Maintain a consistently high standard of accuracy across all financial activities. \n
To be successful in this role, you'll have:

- Previous experience as a Client Accountant, Property Accountant, Service Charge Accountant or in a similar property finance role. \n
- A strong understanding of property and service charge accounting. \n
- Experience preparing client reports, reconciliations and budgets. \n
- Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills. \n
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills. \n
- Experience using property management or accounting software (desirable). \n
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. \n
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. \n
- An AAT qualification, be studying towards ACCA or CIMA, or be qualified through relevant experience (desirable). \n
