Shift: Monday to Thursday, 18:00 – 06:00
Pay Rate: £18.12 per hour + £50 weekly attendance allowance

Are you an experienced Injection Mould Setter looking for a stable night shift role with a long weekend every week? We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Injection Mould Setter to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Yaxley, Peterborough.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where you'll play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, maintaining quality standards, and minimising downtime.

As an Injection Mould Setter, your responsibilities will include:

  Setting, adjusting and maintaining injection moulding machines to achieve optimum performance.

\n
• \n

  Carrying out tool changes safely and efficiently.

\n
• \n

  Monitoring machine performance and troubleshooting production issues.

\n
• \n

  Reducing downtime and minimising scrap and rejects.

\n
• \n

  Calibrating masterbatch units in line with setting sheets and production requirements.

\n
• \n

  Ensuring products meet quality standards and cycle time targets.

\n
• \n

  Maintaining excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards.

\n
• \n

  Providing supervisory cover when required during holidays or absences.

\n
• \n

  Recording downtime, scrap and production information using the company's ERP system.

\n

To be considered, you should have:

\n
• \n

  Previous experience as an Injection Mould Setter within a manufacturing environment.

\n
• \n

  Strong knowledge of tool changes and machine setting.

\n
• \n

  Experience monitoring cycle times, machine performance and quality standards.

\n
• \n

  Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

\n
• \n

  A proactive approach to reducing downtime and improving efficiency.

\n
• \n

  Basic computer skills and experience inputting production data.

\n
• \n

  Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

\n
• \n

  Understanding of health and safety procedures within manufacturing.

\n

  £18.12 per hour.

\n
• \n

  £50 weekly attendance allowance.

\n
• \n

  Weekly pay.

\n
• \n

  Monday to Thursday night shifts (18:00 – 06:00).

\n
• \n

  Overtime available when required.

\n
• \n

  Overtime bonus payments:

    £30 bonus for 8 hours overtime worked.

  • \n

    £60 bonus for 12 hours overtime worked.
