Projects range from smaller domestic installations and independent retail premises through to larger commercial buildings and complex industrial environments.The position is predominantly field based, covering Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, with occasional travel further afield. Engineers travel directly from home to site in a fully equipped company van.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall a wide range of air conditioning systems across retail, industrial, commercial and residential propertiesManage installations from initial preparation through to commissioning and completionComplete work to a consistently high technical and professional standardCarry out commissioning, testing and final system checksDiagnose and resolve technical issues arising during installationRead and work from technical drawings, specifications and manufacturers instructionsLiaise professionally with customers, contractors and other trades on siteEnsure work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with industry regulationsSupport and mentor trainee or junior engineers when requiredOccasionally assist with servicing and maintenance workSkills & ExperienceFGAS qualification is essentialStrong, demonstrable air conditioning installation experienceExperience installing split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systemsConfident completing installations with minimal supervisionGood knowledge of commissioning and fault-finding proceduresHigh standards of workmanship and attention to detailComfortable adapting to different properties, project sizes and customer requirementsProfessional and customer-focused approachFull UK driving licenceThe successful candidate will be an experienced and dependable engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality installations. You should enjoy the variety of moving between different environments and be equally comfortable working in a private home, retail premises, commercial building or industrial facility.Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, 8:00am4:00pm. There is no regular overtime or out-of-hours requirement, with only occasional planned weekend work. The company places genuine importance on work-life balance and does not operate a high-volume, rushed approach to installations.In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £48,000, depending on experience, together with a company van, mobile phone and private healthcare following successful completion of probation.
