Welder/Fabricator 📍 Birmingham 💷 £18–£22 per hour 📅 8–12 Week Contract We're looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy workshop in Birmingham, producing high-quality bespoke metal fabrications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working on varied fabrication projects. The Role * MIG, TIG, and MMA welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium * Fabricate and assemble bespoke metal structures from engineering drawings * Read and interpret technical drawings accurately * Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely * Carry out quality inspections to ensure high standards are maintained * Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet project deadlines * Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment Requirements * NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship, or equivalent in Welding/Fabrication * Proven experience with MIG, TIG, and MMA welding * Ability to read and work from engineering drawings * Strong fabrication, measuring, and problem-solving skills * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Experience with bespoke fabrication, structural steel, or scenic fabrication is advantageous What's on Offer * 8–12 week contract * £18–£22 per hour (depending on experience) * Immediate start available * Varied and interesting fabrication work * Friendly and professional workshop environment If you're interested, please apply today with your CV for immediate consideration
