EPC Commercial Director (Wind Energy) You must be based in or commutable to Glasgow This will include some travel to sites but these are mostly local Up to £125,000 Dependant on experience + Possible Car / Car Allowance + Bonus Scheme (up to 20-30%) + Benefits + Pension Are you from a construction background within the wind, high voltage or solar sector looking to step into a Commercial Director role where you'll lead the commercial delivery of major renewable energy projects and play a key role in an ambitious company's continued growth? This is a highly autonomous role where you will take ownership of the commercial delivery of major onshore wind projects throughout the pre-construction phase. You will lead commercial strategy from feasibility and project appraisal through to financial management, procurement strategy, contract negotiation and mobilisation, ensuring projects are commercially robust and ready for successful construction. This role would suit someone already at Director level or a Commercial Manager, Business Manager, General Manager or similar looking to take a step up. You will need a strong knowledge of Renewables projects, Wind sector and Solar knowledge would give you a distinct advantage. The Role: Take ownership of the commercial direction of the Renewables division, leading the commercial strategy for onshore wind projects throughout the pre-construction phase while supporting the continued growth of the business. Lead projects from feasibility and appraisal through to budgeting, procurement, contract management and mobilisation, ensuring costs, timelines and commercial risks are effectively managed. Oversee commercial due diligence and financial performance, working closely with engineering and project teams to ensure projects are commercially viable and ready for successful construction. The Person: Must be an experienced commercial leader at Director level, or a Commercial Manager or Commercial Lead ready to step into a Senior Leadership role. Must have strong experience delivering pre-construction renewable energy projects, including feasibility, financial management, contract management and programme delivery. Onshore wind experience is essential.
