Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician, to join our client based in Penryn Cornwall.

This is a permanent role, where the successful candidate will provide technical support within their laboratory.
\n
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm.
\n
\n
The Laboratory Technician Role:
\n
\n - Carrying out preparation of samples for analysis.
\n - Performing analysis using XRF / ICP / other techniques as required.
\n - Recording and reporting test results.
\n - Maintaining good laboratory practice and the highest standards of housekeeping and safety.
\n - Performing laboratory admin and housekeeping duties as directed.
\n - Assisting with bench-scale metallurgical test work as required.

\n
Your Background:
\n
\n - Degree/HND/HNC in Chemistry, or relevant discipline.
\n - Experience of working in a laboratory.
\n - Experience with using ICP and / or XRF for chemical analysis.
\n
