Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Highway Depot Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a busy Highway Maintenance depot.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

    \n
  • Health & Safety within the depot, ensuring consistent adherance to HSSE practice.
    • \n
  • Planning and organising team rotas (night shifts, driver working hours), including managing workflow processes and planning daily work schedules for the gangs.
    • \n
  • Plant and material resource management, including stock control and materials ordering / allocation.
    • \n
  • General management of operations across the depot.
    • \n

Applicants must have a background in: Highway Maintenance or Road Improvement Scheems, Traffic Management, VRS/Barrier or Streetlighting, with a good overall knowledge of the UK Highway Maintenance Industry.

The role would ideally suit an existing Highway Depot Manager, or a Highway Maintenance Supervisor / Area Manager.
