One of North London’s longest-standing community-led housing co-operatives is seeking an Asset Project Manager to lead on cyclical works, major repairs, compliance oversight and long-term asset planning across 106 residential homes.

The Role:
\nYou will act as the organisations technical lead across asset planning, major works and compliance, reporting to the Management Committee.
\nKey responsibilities include:
\n- \n
- Developing a long-term cyclical and major works programme based on stock condition data \n
- Overseeing major repairs projects and ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations, fire safety, H&S and CDM regulations \n
- Diagnosing complex building issues and specifying technically robust remedial works \n
- Critically evaluating contractor proposals to ensure compliance, feasibility and value for money \n
- Managing contractor procurement and performance \n
- Managing budgets for major repairs and cyclical programmes \n
You will operate as the senior technical decision-maker on building matters, providing clear written and verbal recommendations to the Property Maintenance Sub-Committee and Management Committee.
\nThe Profile:
\nWe're looking for someone who has successfully delivered planned maintenance, cyclical maintenance or major repairs across a residential property portfolio and is confident balancing technical, financial and stakeholder considerations when making decisions.
\nEssential
\n- \n
- 5+ years’ experience in property project management, building surveying or technical property maintenance ideally within social housing, housing co-operative or local authority settings \n
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and statutory compliance \n
- Demonstrable experience evaluating contractor proposals and challenging technical \n
- Ability to interpret stock condition surveys and translate data into strategic plans \n
- HNC/HND/Degree in a building-related discipline (or equivalent experience) \n
