NQ-3 PQE Lawyer, Fintech

The Client:

A scaling fintech is looking for a NQ-3 PQE* lawyer to join their legal team. Working autonomously, you will be responsible for a range of legal matters across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Working as part of a small team of lawyers, you will be responsible for the following:

\n
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, vendor contracts, and customer terms and conditions.
\n
• Providing support with corporate governance matters
\n
• Assisting with privacy, employment and other matters as they arise
\n
• Provide assistance with maintaining the legal precedent bank; and assist with providing training to the business on new and ongoing legal and compliance issues
\n
• Provide support to the business on the onboarding of new clients
\n
• Working in multidisciplinary teams across various departments, including product development, marketing, and human resources, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
\n

Qualifications:

You will be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales or other jurisdictions or due to qualify shortly, with:

• Excellent contract negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
\n
• Proactive, detail oriented, and able to thrive in a fast paced, innovative environment. Strong problem solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
\n

*Candidates outside this PQE range with the prerequisite experience would be considered for this role.
