\nTHE ROLE.
\nProject leadership with real autonomy.
\nAs Chartered Structural Engineer, you will take full ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects — leading from design through to completion. You will manage graduate engineers and technicians, serve as the primary client contact, and collaborate with contractors and multi-disciplinary consultants to deliver exceptional outcomes on time and within budget.Structural design calculations & drawings.
\nProject team coordination & resource management;
\nClient & consultant relationship management;
\nSite inspections & quality assurance;
\nRisk identification & mitigation;
\nFee forecasting & project invoicing;
\nMentoring graduates & junior engineers;
\nBusiness development contribution.
\nESSENTIAL CRITERIA
\nWhat you will need.
\nChartered Structural Engineer status;
\nBEng in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent);
\nMinimum five years' post-graduate experience in a similar environment;
\nProven design experience across all common building materials to current codes;
\nCompetent structural assessment of existing buildings;
\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office;
\nFull current driving licence (or equivalent access to transport).
\nDESIRABLE.
\nPrevious experience at an engineering-based consultancy;
\nExperience using Masterseries software.
