THE ROLE.

\n

Project leadership with real autonomy.

\n

As Chartered Structural Engineer, you will take full ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects — leading from design through to completion. You will manage graduate engineers and technicians, serve as the primary client contact, and collaborate with contractors and multi-disciplinary consultants to deliver exceptional outcomes on time and within budget.Structural design calculations & drawings.

Project team coordination & resource management;

\n

Client & consultant relationship management;

\n

Site inspections & quality assurance;

\n

Risk identification & mitigation;

\n

Fee forecasting & project invoicing;

\n

Mentoring graduates & junior engineers;

\n

Business development contribution.

\n

\n

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

\n

What you will need.

\n

Chartered Structural Engineer status;

\n

BEng in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent);

\n

Minimum five years' post-graduate experience in a similar environment;

\n

Proven design experience across all common building materials to current codes;

\n

Competent structural assessment of existing buildings;

\n

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office;

\n

Full current driving licence (or equivalent access to transport).

\n

DESIRABLE.

\n

Previous experience at an engineering-based consultancy;

\n

Experience using Masterseries software.

\n
