Head of Demand and Supply Planning

Global Demand & Supply Planning Manager | Herts| Permanent

TalentPool is partnering exclusively with a well established, family owned manufacturer in the building materials sector to find a Global Demand & Supply Planning Manager.

This is a newly elevated, strategically critical role for the business. You'll lead the development of the Global D&SP function, building it into a genuine centre of excellence that aligns global demand with production efficiency and stock availability, while managing working capital across two major product divisions.

What you'll be doing:

• Defining and implementing a Group wide Demand & Supply Planning process across all business units, working closely with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Marketing and Logistics
\n
• Leading the monthly Global Executive D&SP meeting, presenting trade off scenarios and gaining sign off
\n
• Owning global stock across both divisions, ensuring availability and mobilisation to meet customer needs worldwide
\n
• Aligning operational and financial plans against a consistent, credible baseline
\n
• Managing and developing a team covering Planning, Stock Deployment and Inter Company functions
\n
• Driving process optimisation and continuous improvement across systems and tools
\n

This role would suit an experienced Supply Chain leader from a complex, multi site manufacturing environment, ideally with strong S&OP and JD Edwards (or similar ERP) experience, who is ready for a Senior Manager / Director adjacent role with genuine scope to make their mark.
