Employment Associate (3–5 PQE) London

Our client is a highly regarded London law firm with a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused employment advice to a diverse client base. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint a talented Employment Associate with between 3 and 5 years' post-qualification experience.

\n


\n

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and well-established team advising predominantly employer clients across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

\n


\n

The Role

\n

You will advise on a wide variety of employment law issues, including:

\n
    \n
  • Day-to-day HR and employment advisory work
  • \n
  • Employment Tribunal litigation
  • \n
  • Workplace investigations and disciplinary matters
  • \n
  • Senior executive appointments and exits
  • \n
  • Redundancies, restructurings and organisational change
  • \n
  • Employment aspects of corporate transactions
  • \n
  • Drafting and negotiating employment documentation, policies and settlement agreements
  • \n
\n


\n

The role offers significant client contact, close partner support and genuine responsibility from an early stage.

\n

You will have:

\n
    \n
  • 3–5 years' PQE gained at a recognised UK law firm
  • \n
  • Strong technical employment law experience
  • \n
  • Experience advising employer clients
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • \n
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • \n
  • The ability to manage matters with an appropriate level of autonomy
  • \n
\n
