SAP Payroll & Time Advisor
\nLocation: Broughton, North Wales (Hybrid Working – 4 Days Onsite)
\nContract: 6 month contract
\nRate: £17.24 per hour PAYE / £23.07 per hour Umbrella
\nHours: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, flexible working between 7am–7pm)
\nIR35: Inside IR35
\nClearance: BPSS+ required (arranged by our client)
\nOur client is seeking an experienced SAP Payroll & Time Advisor to join their Reward Operations team in Broughton. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with strong administration and customer service experience to support a large and dynamic workforce, ensuring payroll processes are delivered accurately and efficiently.
\nThe Role
\nAs a SAP Payroll & Time Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting payroll and HR administration activities, processing a wide range of payroll and time management transactions while providing excellent support to internal stakeholders.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Process payroll-related transactions including: \n
- Detached Duty, Standby and On-Call payments \n
- One-time payment submissions \n
- Memberships, loans and benefit schemes \n
- P45s and new starter declarations \n
- Settlement agreements and court orders \n
- Process time management transactions including: \n
- Overtime \n
- Shift changes \n
- Sickness administration \n
- Phased return-to-work arrangements \n
- Time savings accounts and salary offset activities \n
- Provide HR administrative support including: \n
- Employment references and solicitor correspondence \n
- Support for employee benefits platforms \n
- Maintaining e-pay systems and providing first-line user support \n
- Producing documents and mail merges for internal communications \n
- Liaising with external payroll providers \n
- Deliver exceptional customer service through both telephone and ticketing support channels. \n
About You
\n- \n
- Previous experience within a payroll environment \n
- Experience handling payroll data input and payroll-related queries \n
- Knowledge of PAYE, SSP, SMP, SPP, pensions, student loans and statutory deductions \n
- Experience using computerised payroll systems (SAP experience preferred) \n
- Strong administration experience within a busy office environment \n
- Excellent written and verbal customer service skills \n
- Good working knowledge of Google Applications \n
