\nThe Gardening Co-ordinator manages the seamless logistics and allocation of between gardening jobs per month across the UK, acting as the vital link between clients (mainly property agents) and a nationwide network of gardening contractors. Based in the Littlehampton office, this role requires a highly organized individual with a sharp sense of priority and strong common sense to keep on top of a constant, high-volume workflow, especially during peak summer months. Prior gardening experience is not essential.
\nThis role will be ideal for someone who:

- Enjoys liaising with customers/clients and building relationships over the telephone. \n
- Maintaining accurate records and keeping the CRM up to date. \n
- Providing high levels of customer service. \n
Full training will be given to the successful candidate.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Work Allocation: Review incoming maintenance requests from existing clients, and efficiently assigning tasks (lawn mowing, bush trimming, weeding) to local gardeners across the UK. \n
- Contractor Sourcing: Conduct proactive research to source, vet, and onboard new local gardening contractors when existing coverage is unavailable in a specific region. \n
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain excellent, collaborative relationships with independent gardeners to ensure reliable service delivery and high standards. \n
- Job Progress Tracking: Monitor ongoing tasks to ensure jobs are completed on schedule, at the correct price, and to company standards. \n
- Client & Contractor Liaison: Composing and sending emails, update clients on job statuses, and handle daily operational enquiries. \n
- Compliance & Evidence Gathering: Thoroughly chase contractors for mandatory pictures of work and collect outstanding invoices promptly for processing. \n
- System Management: Accurately log updates, contractor details, and job progression into the internal systems. \n
Essential Requirements & Personal

- Exceptional Organization: Proven ability to manage a high-volume, continuous administrative workflow without letting tasks slip. \n
- Prioritization Skills: Ability to work dynamically under pressure, shifting focus seamlessly during peak seasonal surges (spring and summer). \n
- Problem-Solving & Common Sense: Resourceful with the logical thinking required to negotiate pricing and find reliable contractors in unfamiliar geographic areas. \n
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to manage estate agents professionally and motivate independent gardening contractors. \n
- Tech Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate an in-house CRM system. \n
- Attention to Detail: Thorough approach to verifying completed work via photographs and allocating works accurately. \n
