We are seeking a Data & Insight Enablement Lead to join our team on a temporary basis. This role involves working with staff at all levels across adult social care, learning disabilities, mental health, integrated commissioning, and community services. You will lead and support a data culture transformation journey, enhancing data literacy and engagement across the organisation.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Create a data and insight transformation roadmap for Adult and Communities services, securing buy-in and support both within and outside the Council to enhance our overall data and insight maturity.
  • \n
  • Proactively identify opportunities where data, analytics, intelligence, and insights can add real and tangible value to Adult and Communities services.
  • \n
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support on the most appropriate data and insight approaches and methods to meet service needs and outcomes.
  • \n
  • Manage and prioritise data and insight demands from across Adult and Communities services, serving as the primary point of contact between these services and the Data and Insight Service.
  • \n
  • Develop data and insight project specifications based on goals, needs, and outcomes of Adult and Communities, collaborating with colleagues across a range of services.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field such as computer science, mathematics, data science, social science, or statistics, or equivalent experience.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge and awareness of a range of data and insight disciplines including business intelligence, data analytics, data visualisation, qualitative research, and evaluation.
  • \n
  • Proven experience in implementing effective data and insights approaches across various service/business areas.
  • \n
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the services and functions relating to Adults and Communities, including mandated responsibilities.
