As a Senior Park Instructor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, engaging activities and maintaining our commitment to excellent customer service.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Instruct a variety of activities including watersports, bushcraft, and land-based activities.
  • \n
  • Assist in event management and operations, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • \n
  • Act as a key holder for activity centres, proficiently using all park-based IT systems.
  • \n
  • Provide cover for other park assistant duties as needed, supporting our ethos of one team, one park, one experience.
  • \n
  • Work flexible hours including weekends, shifts, early mornings, and late evenings to meet the needs of the park.
  • \n

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Supervision: Deputise for the Team Leader in their absence, ensuring all processes and standards are met.
  2. \n
  3. Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional service, providing advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  4. \n
  5. Cash Handling: Manage transactions, ensure secure money handling and end-of-day procedures.
  6. \n
  7. Park Standards: Maintain high standards of housekeeping and support the upkeep of park accreditations.
  8. \n
  9. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to health and safety policies, conduct safety checks, and manage equipment securely.
  10. \n
  11. Specialism: Depending on your area of expertise, provide high-quality instruction in watersports or conservation and education activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

    \n
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of bushcraft activities.
  • \n
  • Experience working in an outdoor activity setting.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with National Governing Bodies (NGB) and industry safety practices.
  • \n
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • \n
  • First Aid certification and a full driving licence are essential.
  • \n
