\nDescription
\n\n- \n
- Dealing with annual tax returns for delegated clients \n
- Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs on behalf of clients \n
- Involvement in a wide range of personal tax assignments, including tax forecasting, considering residence and domicile status, capital gains tax, planning and enquiry work \n
- Responding to issues and queries from clients \n
- Maintaining regular client contact \n
- Managing your own portfolio of private clients, trusts and partnerships, including taking responsibility for raising bills \n
- Working as part of a team to meet all deadlines and ensure that client expectations are exceeded \n
- Providing support to Managers and Partners on their portfolios and ad hoc projects \n
- Training and supervising junior staff \n
Profile
\n\n- \n
- Strong team mentality but with the ability to work independently \n
- ATT/CTA qualification (or have significant experience working in tax) \n
- Previous work experience gained in a private client/personal tax environment, preferably in practice \n
- A good working knowledge of tax preparation software and HMRC online services \n
- Strong organisational skills, including proven experience in managing a busy client portfolio \n
- Good attention to detail \n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - thinking outside the box and proposing solutions \n
- Confident and adaptable communication skills - written, verbally and in person \n
- Be proactive and determined \n
- Well-developed sense of client service \n
