Head of Finance Systems

A Newcastle based organisation is looking to appoint a Head of Finance Systems to lead a newly established Finance Systems function during an exciting period of growth, change and investment.

This Newcastle based position is a highly visible leadership role, reporting into a senior Finance leader and working closely with both Finance and IT stakeholders. You'll be responsible for leading the Finance Systems team, driving the systems roadmap, and supporting a number of key initiatives across reporting, automation, data and technology.

• Lead, develop and mentor the Finance Systems team
\n
• Manage a complex Finance Systems support function
\n
• Own the Finance Systems strategy and roadmap
\n
• Oversee a multi-system finance environment
\n
• Partner with senior Finance, IT and Operational stakeholders
\n
• Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives
\n
• Support major programmes across reporting, automation and data
\n
• Help shape the future use of technology, analytics and AI within the function
\n

You will ideally bring:

• Strong people management experience
\n
• Finance Systems ownership and leadership experience
\n
• ERP implementation, support or optimisation experience
\n
• A track record of delivering change and transformation
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
\n
• The ability to bridge the gap between Finance and IT
\n

Experience with reporting, Power BI, automation, data initiatives or business intelligence would be advantageous.
