You'll lead drivers and operational teams, ensuring legal compliance, exceptional customer service and high operational standards are maintained at all times.You'll work closely with fleet, workshop and depot teams to maximise vehicle availability while promoting a strong culture of health and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach and support transport teamsManage driver compliance, working hours and transport legislationConduct driver debriefs and performance reviewsMonitor fleet compliance and vehicle availabilityDeliver toolbox talks and health & safety initiativesEnsure Operator Licence and FORS complianceSupport employee wellbeing and developmentDrive continuous improvement across transport operationsTransport Manager Essential SkillsTransport Manager CPC (essential)Experience within transport, logistics or waste managementStrong understanding of Drivers' Hours and Operator Licence legislationExcellent leadership and communication skillsGood IT skills including Microsoft OfficeFull UK Driving LicenceLGV Class 2 licence desirableTPBN1_UKTJ
