We are seeking a MEP Site Manager to enhance our team and drive success across our high value projects.Why join us?Exciting Projects Work on varied sector projects and leave a lasting legacyCareer Growth Clear progression pathways and continuous professional developmentCollaborative Culture Be part of a team that values innovation, integrity, and a commitment to excellenceCompetitive Package Enjoy a competitive salary and great benefitsWhat you will be doingThe successful MEP Site Manager will have a wide and varied remit making full use of their experience and skills.The MEP Site Manager must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in safe delivery of high quality medium to large scale projects to budget and programme.Have a full understanding of the scope of works for the Mechanical & Electrical sub-contractor packagesManage on site works of Mechanical & Electrical sub-contractor packagesCo-ordinate Mechanical & Electrical works with the wider McLaughlin & Harvey Civils / Structural / Architectural Site Management teamLiaise with the Lead McLaughlin & Harvey Building Services Manager, Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor on works not deemed to be included within the scope of works for the projectUnderstand their duties and responsibilities with regards to current Health and Safety/CDM legislation, and the responsibilities of other parties, and ensure compliance on each projectReview sub-contractor Method Statements / Risk Assessments and monitor compliance throughout the projectIssue permits for Mechanical & Electrical sub-contractors and other various work activities, and close out accordinglyCheck ongoing installation for compliance with contract requirementsRaise NCRs for works undertaken that are of poor qualityEnsure that sub-contractors compile and issue inspection and test plans (ITPs) for various works packages, and that these are checked and closed out accordinglyCompile snagging lists and manage the process for closing outEnsure as installed works align with the design intent and end user requirementUnderstand the type of building contract, and the key project stakeholders e.g. client, clients representatives, design team etcUndertake material/equipment orders, and liaise with the Project Quantity SurveyorProvisions/diversion/upgrade/protection works, and manage the process via regular meetingswith the relevant utility companiesMake any necessary applications for permits to the Highways Authority for road openings, location of skips and/or welfare facilitiesMake any necessary applications to utility companies for temporary building water, drainage discharge and electricity connections to welfare facilitiesUnderstand any off-site Highways works and manage the process via regularmeetingswith relevant partiesUndertake the role of Temporary Works Coordinator (where applicable)What Were Looking ForEssentialCSCS / SMSTS qualifiedValid driving licenceElectrical and or Mechanical Trade QualificationDesirableFirst Aid at WorkBIMKnowledge of BG6 and RIBA StagesHow to Apply:If youre ready to take the next step in your career with a company that values your expertise and innovation, wed love to hear from you!
